Pastor Chris planted Manna Church West Florida with a special group of families in September of 2016. Growing up in a family that prioritized faith and was surrounded by sports, Chris eventually met his wife Becky at the University of Hawaii, where he played football, and she was a cheerleader. They began doing ministry together both at their church and with Athletes in Action on the university campus. The Shinnicks have a passion for seeing people find themselves in Jesus and discover their purpose for life through the Church.

 

Pastor Chris is an ordained minister who graduated from Denver Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 2010. He has served in full-time ministry for over 20 years, seven as a youth pastor in Hawaii, six years at Manna Church in Fayetteville, NC, and the remaining years here in Florida. He loves teaching God’s Word, building up men, helping families thrive, and equipping people to change their world.

 

Chris and Becky have four children: Sebastian (16), Evangeline (13), Emmett (10), and Lysander (with Jesus)
