Manna Family,
On the 18th of this month, our church turns nine years old. The word that immediately comes to mind when I think of the journey my family and I have been on for the last nine years (ten if you count the year of preparation) is FAITHFULNESS. This one word covers so much about this church’s amazing lifespan… let me explain.
First and foremost, every aspect of growth and provision in the life of our church is attributed to the steadfast love and faithfulness of God. He has been so gracious to bestow favor upon us, despite our pride and prone-to-wander-ness at times. He has been faithful to sustain us, faithful to forgive us, and faithful to provide vision and ‘fresh wind’ when we’ve needed it. Any success that Manna Church has experienced in these nine years comes down to God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness!
Secondly, it’s the faithfulness of hundreds of people over the years who have answered the call of God on their lives which has enabled this church, as our mission statement says, to Change the World! You (and many who have gone before you) have been faithful to pray, SERVE, give, trust, forgive, sacrifice, and hope, all while pursuing devotion in Christ. There’s no such thing as a healthy church without faithful followers of Jesus leading the way. In response to God’s grace and love toward this church, you have responded, and shown yourself to be faithful. Thank You.
Lastly, God has taught me a lifetime of lessons in this nine year span as well. Yet the one that rises to the top is simple: “Remain faithful to your assignment.” Becky and I count it both a joy and a privilege to have answered the call to move here in 2016 to ‘say yes’ to leading this church. It has certainly come with challenges and heartaches, but remaining faithful to what we know God is doing has produced an even greater desire to stay the course. “If God leads you to it, He will lead you through it!” Amen.
Here’s to another faithful year in the life of Manna Church West Florida. Great days ahead… We’re just getting started 🙂
Blessings,

If you have a student in 6th – 12th grade we’d love for them to join us on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm at 703 Powell Dr. in Niceville.

Hey Manna Church West Florida family! Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 7, because Connect Sunday is almost here, and we’re ready to kick off our next Small Group cycle with a bang! Our theme, as always, is “We have a place for YOU!”—and we mean it. Whether you’re new to Manna or a longtime member, this is your chance to find community, build life-giving relationships, and experience the kind of life change that happens when we do life together.
At Manna, we believe God didn’t create us to go through life alone. We were designed for connection—friendships that uplift, accountability that strengthens, encouragement that inspires, and support that carries us through life’s highs and lows. That’s what Manna Small Groups are all about! On Connect Sunday, you’ll get to browse an area filled with Small Group Leaders ready to welcome you, answer your questions, and share what their groups are all about. From Bible studies to pickleball, marriage groups to outdoor adventures, and spiritual warfare to sermon discussion dinner groups, there’s a group that fits your passions and schedule. Plus, you can sign up right there on the spot!
Why join a Small Group? Because life change happens in the context of relationships. Whether it’s laughing over coffee, praying through tough times, or serving together to make a difference, Small Groups are where you’ll find the friendship, growth, and purpose you’ve been craving. This is your moment to step into community and discover how much better life is when we’re connected.
So, come ready on September 7 to explore, connect, and find your place. Bring a friend, grab some info, and let’s get excited about what God will do through our Small Groups this fall. Life is better together—let’s change the world together!
See you at Connect Sunday!
