Manna Family,
As we step into April we find ourselves right in the middle of Passion Week. As a Christian, we are acutely aware that the journey to the joy of the resurrection must go through the crushing of the cross. Somebody say, “Thank you Jesus!” It’s such an honor to pastor a local church that places their hope in The Risen Christ on a daily (let’s be honest… moment by moment) basis, and I truly look forward to worshipping with you at our first ever Good Friday Service, and at one of our three Easter Services. It’s not too late to invite a friend.
April is also our first full month engaging with the updated version of our Manna Church App, featuring a personalized dashboard for each individual who calls Manna Church “home.” This upgrade will make it easier for everyone to take meaningful steps in their faith journey, while also allowing our church to connect and communicate in a more personal and relevant way. The goal is that everyone knows their ‘next right step,’ and that no one falls through the cracks!
Our heart behind this move is that those who attend our church during this season of growth, still feel a sense of belonging, while understanding the reality that they were made on purpose and for a purpose. Manna Church will always be about equipping God’s People to change their world, and we believe this new digital tool will enhance our ability to steward this calling in a healthy way. Like anything new, there will be a bit of a learning curve (for both you and our staff), so thanks in advance for the grace as we continue to pursue excellence as a church family.
Lastly, get ready for the longest sermon series in the history of our church. We’ll be in the book of Acts until November! Let’s learn to become the church God longs for. See you soon!

God’s love fuels godly marriages! Over the last month we have unpacked what this means, and we ended the month with our very first Love & Marriage Couples Conference! Over the weekend, couples learned skills and gained tools to strengthen their marriages. It was an incredible weekend together!

In February, we had our annual Galentine’s Celebration with guest speaker, Latimer Bowen! This night was filled with laughs, dance moves, friendship, and Jesus! We learned about friendship with God and how much he truly does love us and wants to be so present in our lives.

In January and February, 30 people completed FirstStep or NextStep and we couldn’t be more excited about what God is doing in our church family. Every step of growth matters, and we love seeing people lean in and move forward.

We rejoice that our team made it to India and back safely last month. This trip was a good reminder of the power (and need) of a strong prayer covering. Thank you to all that prayed! Due to privacy concerns, we will not be recording a Report Back from the team, but stay tuned for ways you can join the team in person to hear more about what happened while they were there!
Our other partner in India is gearing up for their summer camp season already. Last year they reached 75,000 children through week long summer camps. This year they hope to reach 150,000 children, many from non-Christian families. Pray that these children can become ambassadors of hope to their families and villages. Many of our mission partners are sending their gratitude for abundant end of year giving. It is always a joy to see how God will provide for every need. Thank you for doing your part in that too!
R.U.N. has been creating and compiling a collection of worship music in local languages to fill SD cards for distribution. This will enable the persecuted church to draw closer into His presence through songs of worship and praise in their own tongue. The content is ready now and they are preparing to copy and distribute 45,000 of these “digital hymnals.” Pray for the funding and logistics to move smoothly so that these tools can reach those who need it.
